Anyone still feels that How the Steel Was Tempered is a good book?
I bought the TV drama from China and found it not bad. Found this link:

The first volume is really good. The second volume is just so so.
只是奥斯特罗夫斯基战斗的白匪头目，像那孙维世填词的“在乌克兰辽阔的原野上”里的“彼得留拉凶恶的匪帮”，如今大都被认为是乌克兰的民族解放英雄了。好像老共拍这个电影，弄得乌克兰很不高兴。
老共还拍了“这里的黎明静悄悄”。
