What do sorrows look like when they pile up on the pillow?

As if waves in rivers and oceans, they turn high and low.

Long nights always make dawns hard to become bright,

Getting up I put on coat and alone count stars in the sky.

When the morning arrives, my thoughts will be all gone,

But your image will still float in my mind, on and on.

Alas, now the waning moon is slowly sinking to the west,

Seeing all this, I have no reason not to let my tears shed!

吳懷楚 毛澤東的詩詞大約可分兩個時期.第一個時期是他剛出道離鄉別井到外地去闖天下.到解放全中國的1966年發動"文化大革命"時止.這段時期.他所填的詞很有韻味.可以一讀.這闕詞是屬於第一個時期所填.是為他的元配夫人楊開慧而填.
